MD Mortgage Loan Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
MD Mortgage Loan (“MD Mortgage Loan,” “MDM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit mdmortgageloan.com, use our educational tools, or submit a Get Matched inquiry (collectively, the “Services”).
MD Mortgage Loan is an educational and referral resource. We are not a lender, mortgage broker, loan servicer, credit reporting agency, or financial adviser. Submitting an inquiry is not a mortgage application, preapproval, commitment to lend, or credit pull.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
We may collect information you choose to provide, including:
- Your first and last name, email address, and optional phone number;
- Your preferred contact method;
- Professional information, such as your medical designation and career stage;
- Mortgage-related preferences, such as whether you plan to buy or refinance, whether you are relocating, your expected timing, the state where the property may be located, and an estimated purchase price;
- Questions or other information you include in an inquiry; and
- Information you enter into a calculator or other interactive tool if you choose to submit or share those results with us.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, bank or account numbers, passwords, medical records, tax documents, credit reports, or other sensitive documents through the website or inquiry form.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical and usage information, such as your Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the dates and times of visits. We may collect this information through cookies, pixels, server logs, and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Provide and operate the Services;
- Respond to questions and Get Matched inquiries;
- Understand your stated needs and connect you with Dr. Home Finance or an appropriate lender, mortgage professional, real estate professional, or other referral partner;
- Communicate with you using the contact method you request;
- Personalize and improve our educational content, tools, and website experience;
- Measure website performance and understand how visitors use the Services;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, or technical problems;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and
- Carry out other purposes disclosed to you when information is collected or with your consent.
We will not treat an MDM inquiry as authorization to obtain your credit report or submit a loan application. A lender or mortgage professional may request additional information and separate authorization if you choose to continue with that provider.
3. How We Disclose Information
Dr. Home Finance and referral partners
MD Mortgage Loan is part of the Dr. Home Finance referral ecosystem. When you submit a Get Matched inquiry, we may provide the information you submit to Dr. Home Finance and, where appropriate, to participating lenders, mortgage professionals, real estate professionals, or other referral partners so they can review your inquiry and contact you about relevant options. Those parties may have their own privacy policies and are responsible for their own use of your information.
Service providers
We may share information with vendors that help us operate the Services, such as website hosting, form and customer relationship management providers, analytics providers, email and communications providers, security providers, and professional advisers. These providers may use information only to perform services for us or as otherwise permitted by law.
Legal and business purposes
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a governmental request; protect the rights, safety, or property of MDM, our users, or others; investigate fraud or security concerns; or support a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
With your direction or consent
We may disclose information for another purpose when you direct us to do so or give us consent.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Some state privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising more broadly. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of certain disclosures or uses described in this Policy.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the website functioning, remember preferences, understand traffic, measure performance, and improve the Services. Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the website function.
Where required, we will request consent before using nonessential cookies. You may also use any cookie preference tool displayed on the website.
5. Communications
If you submit an inquiry, we or a referral partner may contact you about that inquiry using the contact method you select. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us.
Submitting the MDM inquiry form does not by itself provide consent to receive marketing text messages. If text-message consent is requested in the future, it will be presented separately with any required disclosures. Message and data rates may apply.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, respond to inquiries, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use care when deciding what information to submit online.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information; to object to or restrict certain processing; or to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising.
To exercise an applicable privacy right, use the contact method provided in the most recent communication you received from MD Mortgage Loan or one of our referral partners and include “MDM Privacy Request” in your message. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. You may also have the right to appeal our decision or contact your state privacy regulator.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Services, please contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
10. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Services may link to websites or services operated by Dr. Home Finance, lenders, referral partners, or other third parties. This Privacy Policy does not govern those third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing information directly to them.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
12. Privacy Requests
